Washing/Drying: make sure you "heat set"...

Washing/Drying:
make sure you "heat set" your paint first by placing a cloth over the paint and ironing on top (read the directions on the back of the paint for more info). Then you can wash/dry like normal. If you don't heat-set first then the paint will fade and wash out.

The thicker the layers of paint, the more likely it is to crack. Using a shirt made of smooth cotton jersey, rather than a slightly ribbed shirt, makes a difference too. Washing/drying a shirt first too makes a difference.
