Thank you so much- I am a beginner but I bought a commercial pattern and some fabric a few weeks ago to make my daughters coordinating dresses. Today I decided to ditch the pattern before even opening it and cut out a random dress shape from one of their existing dresses. I am not a super-advanced seamstress- I got stuck weaving the elastic through the waist. If you were supposed to lay the two waistband pieces on top of each other and sew together, how are you supposed to feed the elastic all of the way around? How should I fix this without ripping everything out? (I am super slow and this would take forever to rip out and re-sew). Thank you for the help!!!!!!

Oh I am soooo excited to find this!!! My husband has this darling habit of stinking pens into his shirt pocket without putting the cap on or clicking them down... I hate throwing away expensive dress shirts! I can cut off the pocket and maybe add a rosette to the small stain left.

LOVE your blog. I just found it a few days ago with a link a friend had on her blog. I made a few of the really easy skirts and posted them on my blog.
