Wow. Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. I have a generous knitting friend who would LOVE these, and I'm always trying to think of things she would love since she doesn't sew but I do... you have just done me a great favor and I thank you!! I will be using some felted wool and adding a little yarn to the fabric scraps on some of the cards, just for her... the possibilities are, indeed,

Such a fun idea! I made 50! of these this past week as gifts for my kids teachers at church. Instead of the random zig zags, I put their first initial on there with a wide zig-zag stitch. I made 5 for each one & included envelopes. Several told me at church yesterday how much they liked them. I just love your blog & creative ideas - kep 'em coming!

I made some for my friend's graduation. I had made a pillowcase, and I had some leftover scraps so I decided to make a quilted notecard! Thanks for the awesome tutorial! It's such a great idea! :)

Thank you for this great idee! I made some cards following your tutorial and talked about on my blog, whith a link to this post. It was amazing to do and enabled me to use a little bit of my huge stock of scraps (and now, it forceforces me to remember the few english i learned at school sooo long away...sorry if there is a lot of mistakes!)

This really is addicting. After seeing this idea on your blog, I immediately made some. It was a great way to use some old notecards with my college emblem on the front. Since I was never going to use the emblem-covered cards, I decided this would be the perfect way to cover up the emblem and still make use of the cards. I think I could make these all day!

I love this idea.I love how you use the cards and cute fabric for ribbon to tie them in together! I'll have to do this for a few gifts I have coming up.
