Dana,

Help! When I am sewing the binding on the armholes it is coming out all wrong. It looks alright on the topside(the side that I am looking down on at the sewing machine). Then I turn it over and the other side look awful! what am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?

I came across your site when I was googling for something else and really enjoyed reading thru your posts and projects! :D Very awesome ideas! For this little vest, I think you might save a step if you sew the shoulders together before sewing the armhole bindings :3 (Maybe someone already suggested it lol!) Happy Sewing!

Whenever I'm refashioning a chunky sweater fabric, it always stretches as I sew and it never returns to it's original shape. Any tips on this? Is there something I'm doing wrong?
