Hi Fancy Mama,
The pattern is listed in my shop as "Beginner to Intermediate".
You can do it as a beginner. It may take you a bit longer and will require a bit more patience. There's nothing tricky about it....it can just be a lot sometimes with all those ruffles.
BUT the pattern alone (even without the ruffles) is a wonderful pattern that you will use over and

I am SO IN LOVE with this skirt. And glad I found the little tutorial section. Now I can just get sewing rather than experimenting. Going to make a ginger bread top with a brown(similar to the turkey) and then another with red and white for a candy cane.
