wow, that must be a big relief that he has graduated. My congrats to him. My husband is toying with the idea of going back for his masters -- ugh, he'd have to commute 2x a week and it would be 2 nights a week we pretty much don't see him.

Yay! You are back! How did you survive without you computer AND sewing machine? That would be hard for me. Last year I had my machine serviced, I felt so empty that I cut out ten outfits. I felt deprived and had to fill in the whole with something. When the machine came back, I had the best time sewing away my daughter's clothes.

You cracked me up with the sewing machine "repair" story. My students often get tripped-up by a previous user leaving one of the machines in buttonhole mode. It always gives me a bit of a chuckle.

Last week was the first week of summer for the kids and since my husband was at scout camp, I didn't do any crafts or sewing (until Wed. night when he came home and I made the pj bottoms) and it was such a nice break. I am going to have electronic free days. I am glad your sewing machine and computer are back on and CONGRATS to your family on your husband's accomplishment.
