This post had perfect timing. My son came home with a note yesterday about the valentine's day party and I had gone online looking for an idea that we could make. My kger has so much fun with these- and it was great cutting practice as well. I won't lie, my hands were tired from all that stapler use when we were done.

I'm nervous about including staples with Valentine candy. I'd use a small hole punch to punch around the heart and then lace around it with yarn. Wrap a little piece of scotch tape around the yarn end to thread the holes easier. My kids enjoy lacing cards, so lacing Valentines would be fun too (unless you have to make 30 of them). You could always use glue!

I absolutely LOVE these! Thank you SO MUCH for the tutorial! I just printed out about 20 of these and my 2 and 4 year olds can fill them and hand them out to all our family and friends this weekend! Its the perfect way to use up the giant bag of love hearts I couldn't resist buying the other day!
