Wondering what to do with the kids all vacation long? We've got the perfect project. And it's great for the whole family.
Take an old thrifted sweater:
and transform it into a one-of-a-kind adorable Christmas Stocking. Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle? Even at the holidays!
The new Sweater Stocking Pattern gives step-by-step instructions for FIVE different stocking styles. If you've enjoyed our MADE tutorials, our patterns are plenty of the same.
Great colored photos, easy-to-follow steps, and a lot of info jammed into one pattern. You'll love it!
You'll find the new pattern HERE in the Shop.

And if you're missing a fireplace (like us)....an impromptu branch works just fine.
Merry Christmas to all! And to all a good night.

All five of the original stockings are also for sale in my SHOP, while supplies last.

So cute. I saw sweaters on sale at the thrift store for 50 cents! What a great way to make a personalized sweater. These are really cute.

Oh my gosh! I love these - what a great idea. I've got three felted wool sweaters waiting for some creativity to come their way. I'm going to use one for some stuffed animals for my girls, but this is another awesome idea for the others. Thanks so much!!

Thank you all for the great comments! I'm so glad you like the stockings. There were one of those projects that started small....and then grew into a Christmas monster. I'm so happy with the results (especially the tree branch that we hung at 12:30am, so I could get pictures :) ).
And you are all very funny....NO, the 5 stockings do not mean anything. I'm not pregnant :). I just found five sweaters I liked and went to work! But thanks for asking :)

What an awesome idea. I love your simple plain ideas and they become so special and cute. I am currently working on your knee pats for my twin boys.

Those turned out really cute. My favorite one is the white one with the green lining and the green cherries. Are they cherries? Anyway, very cute. And I just saw that dietcokegrrl left almost the same exact comment! Hahaha.

They look so soft and snuggly and handmade. I would totally hang those over my fireplace...if I had a fireplace, that is. ;)
