Just when life is busy it's always a good idea to say YES to a few craft fairs? Right? Thankfully I have a small bit of inventory already built up. But this weekend, as I lounge around the cabin at a girl's weekend getaway, I'll be making these:

...while Lucy and Owen spend quality time with Dad. She really is thrilled about it, I promise.
and I'm at a bit of a quandary these days. Maybe you lovely people can help me figure it out. I love my joon bug clothing labels; the color, the logo, the look. They are the perfect thing for children's clothing. But as the made site grows and I sell my goods at craft fairs, I question 
which label to go with. Am I joon bug or made? I feel more made. So do I create made clothing labels too? or instead of? I hate to say goodbye to this little face. Maybe it doesn't matter. Maybe I can be both. Somehow I don't think the face goes with "made". But I've got some other ideas floating around too. Oh....the things in life that are so inconsequential.How 'bout a little more of this instead.

I love that today you are wondering about label's! I think the Joon Bug is cute, but since MADE is getting to be a bigger name, even in a magazine, Id suggest you do the switchy doo! I am sketching out ideas for my labels as we speak ;-)
One more quick comment, Why couldn't the little face follow you with the MADE labels? It would be a great way to blend the two together!
Yeah I agree I would hate to loose the face, I've always thought that was so cute. But Made is kinda taking over & I think you should have a Made label. I'm sure you will come up with something equally cute. Good luck & enjoy your weekend!

Dana I love both of your labels, but I have to agree with the others that MADE is much bigger than Joon Bug (both are adorable by the way). I believe you could come up with a wonderful logo for MADE. I also know you are clever enough to turn the cute face into a MADE label as well. I guess it all depends on what you feel is more YOU!
I love your hairclips!!! I wish I could go to the fairs! AHH! And that picture is precious. I love that style. I'd say focus more on MADE, because it's becoming so well-known. You're so creative, you can definitely find a way to tie them together and maybe move your shop over to your MADE site.

Totally think you should do both! Kind of like the idea before mine about Joon Bug being a "line" from MADE! I think you should keep Joon Bug for the kids line! By the way, they are both awesome as is your website!

"Joon Bug by Made" is what I was thinking of, too. Made could be the bigger name encompassing everything, maybe with a logo that incorporates the face but has more to it. Then Joon Bug could have just the face and be just for kids' clothes.
I saw your blog on my friends blog. Anyways, I think your stuff is super cute & you have so much talent. I also saw the competition for the 10 crafts challenge & yours was super cute. I wish we were next door neighbors or in the same ward so that I could learn how to be crafty. Very cute hair clips by the way.
i only know your stuff as 'made' so i am biased, but i just like the connotation of the work made. either way i definitely think choosing one or the other is the way to go in terms of growing your business/blog. Good Luck!

I'm a new follower of MADE and I'm addicted. Mother of three in the OC and a novice crafter/sewer. I love what you do, and am inspired to make more!! Thanks to you I made my children's halloween costumes this year, and now my sewing machine is a permanent fixture in our front room. Thank you for all the inspiration!

I love the joon bug label and think you should keep it for your kids line. Joon bug by made is a great idea, it wouldn't be too wordy if you hade 'by made' in tiny lettering underneath 'joon bug'. Then you could have something more you and grown up for 'made'. Very stylish and classy.
Can u be MADE by Joon Bug? or Joon Bug MADE it?? maybe, maybe not.

I like the idea of combining Joon Bug and MADE. Plus, the combination allows you to roll out product lines under the same umbrella: Joon Bug by MADE, ____ by MADE, etc. :-)

What about keeping and blending both? Your clothing could be "Joon Bug Clothing" by MADE. And everything else can just have the MADE name or you could make cute names for each line.
I'm torn because the Joon Bug is super cute but in my "used to be a graphic designer a long time ago" non-professional opinion....I'd maybe go with the MADE labels but have your little Joon Bug peeking out behind the MADE word. So that you can show a merger in a way. :0)

Ooh, tough choice. It seems like people might know the name MADE more, but I'd hate to say goodbye to Joon Bug, too. I have the hardest time making these kinds of decisions.

I really like the joon bug label. so simple and cute. I like the face. Maybe you could combine them a bit and call it J.B. MADE. Hmm... or, J. Bug MADE. Dunno...

I say keep it simple (one name) to avoid confusion. I love "MADE" with the Joon Bug look (I think a new name is easier to follow than a new look.). So, I would keep Joon Bug as is but rename it, and give made a face lift to match the current Joon Bug.

JoonBug By MADE. And Keep the Face with MADE. (Maybe her name is "Maddy MADE")

Those hairclips are so cute. Love them.
That's a tricky choice about your brand name. Made appeals to me, however, it's a rather generic word. Thinking down the line, it's not something one can easily search for on google, whereas "June Bug" is more unique. And June Bug is perhaps more memorable and will stick in people's minds more than MADE.
Dana-Made has a ring to it - like on your clip labels. I think June Bug by Made is a little confusing - which one are you, what does it mean? The little face icon would look appropriate with Dana-Made too.
