Dana, thank you for the tutorial. It was really, really excellent. Showing us the dial settings and all! You are so good to us. But I wanted to say thank you because I know how much work goes into putting together a tutorial, especially one of this detail and clarity. I usually gather my skirts by hand (i.e even tension, big stitches and pull string to size) but I am going to try your method when I next do gathers. It's a good time saver. I hope your skirts continue to do well in the shop! Much as this tutorial will help us make our own, what we turn out will probably never compare to the originals you've done - they are so beautiful. Have a great day!

My first thought when I saw these skirts, was oh, I wish there was a tutorial. Thank you so much! I can't wait to get started. I'll be making one for my granddaughter who will be three in Oct. and then figuring out the changes needed to make her big sister one.
